2016 marks the 10th year I have had the privilege of serving the people of north central West Virginia. As news director, evening anchor, and producer at WDTV, it is an honor I do not take lightly. I pledge to bring you the stories you care about each and every night!
Throughout the years, I've had the honor of reporting to you many of our state's defining moments, both good and bad. But I firmly believe that it's those negative moments in which the people of our state have shown the kind of unity and compassion that makes me proud to call West Virginia home. Moments like the Sago mine disaster and the Upper Big Branch tragedy are etched into our hearts and minds forever. They are experiences we hope never to have to live through again, but will remember forever.
I am excited for the future here at WDTV/WVFX. I promise we will continue to alert you to the breaking news events that affect you, and the stories that shape your everyday life.
Thanks for watching; if you aren't, there's no better time than now to start! And if you see me out and about, don't be afraid to say hi!

Want to know where I'm from and what I like to do in my spare time? Read on...
I'm originally from Rochester, Pennsylvania.
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Communication, with an emphasis on English Writing.
I love hockey (go Penguins!), baseball (go Bucs!), soccer, theater (I was a member of the CLO Academy in Pittsburgh in high school, and played lead roles in many school musicals and plays), and traveling.
I'm extremely passionate about animals -- please folks, spay and neuter your pets. Donate to your local humane society! If you can't donate, volunteer your time! And of course, adopt a pet from your local animal organization and give him/her a forever home!
I live in Morgantown with my lovely wife, Erin. I also have three "boys": Ethan (human), Louis (a Pomeranian who thinks he is a human), and Bentley (a loving Pomeranian who seems to realize he is actually a dog, and a great example of why Pet Helpers is a great place to look for animal rescues).
