BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV)- The Bridgeport Development Authority met Tuesday morning to discuss a few big developments across the city.
The big ticket item was the internet project currently underway, which will provide every house and business in Bridgeport with high speed internet.
A two year extension of the loan for that project was approved. The extension does not provide more money, just additional time for the construction phase. The CityNet president says they are currently under budget, but are behind on construction. He went on to say they are close to 50% done with the project.
Other changes in the area include an addition to UHC and a new store coming to Meadowbrook Mall.
