A wintry mix of precipitation Wednesday. What will we see when? Where will we see it?

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) - Wednesday will feature a new storm system that can bring rain, ice, and snow to NCWV. It will be too cold for rain initially and snow is what is expected Wednesday morning. Only a short window of snow is expected before warmer air turns it to rain. This will happen from southwest to northeast in the late morning or early afternoon.

Rain continues into Sunday evening as southwest winds keep temperatures warm enough for rain.

As the storm system moves east, colder air wraps around the back side and turns rain to snow. Some light accumulations may result after dark Wednesday and before sunrise on Thursday.
