BEVERLY, W.Va. (WDTV) - Fifty new jobs will be coming to Randolph county after the Armstrong flooring facility was awarded a grant for $2.5 million.
A representative from the EDA speaks at the conference.
The grant was awarded as part of the US Economic Development Administration's Assistance to Coal Communities initiative, which helps communities that have been affected by the declining coal industry.
State officials, including Senator Shelley Moore Capito and members of the EDA were in attendance to talk about investing in natural resources.
Expansions to the facility will also bring in over 15 million to the region's economy.
