BEVERLY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- With the help of the Randolph County Development Authority, Armstrong Flooring is expanding its manufacturing facility in Beverly, according to an announcement Wednesday.
The expansion will add 85,000 square feet to the facility and create a new distribution center.
The facility produces hardwood flooring that is shipped throughout the country. Officials say the expansion will allow the company to store finished products on-site without having to ship them to offsite distribution centers. More space also leaves the company room for expansion in the future. Officials say the project has the potential of creating up to 50 new jobs within the next decade.
