UPDATE: Authorities release names in fatal accident at Mon/Preston County line

Authorities have released new details about a deadly accident near the Monongalia/ Preston County line, Friday.

According to a press release from the Monongalia County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to a two-car accident on Earl Core Road around 4:45 pm.

They say 21-year-old Kendall Dawn Forman, of Bruceton Mills, was traveling West when she lost control of her car causing it to cross the center line. Forman's car hit the vehicle driven by 44-year-old Roger Blosser of Masontown.

Forman was pronounced dead at the scene. Blosser and his passenger were taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Masontown Fire, Brookhaven Fire, Cheat Lake Fire, and Monongalia County EMS responded to the scene.
