Bridgeport council talks rec center finances

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) -- The finances of the new Bridgeport recreational complex was the main topic of conversation at Bridgeport City Council, Monday evening.

There was a resolution that said the city should be reimbursed for capital expenditures in connection with the "acquisition, construction, furnishing and equipping" of the new sports complex before the issuance of tax-exempt sales tax revenue bonds.

This means the city should be reimbursed up to 60 days before the adoption of the resolution.
