Buckhannon man pleads guilty to drug distribution charge

ELKINS, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Buckhannon man has admitted his role in a methamphetamine distribution operation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.

Officials say 23-year-old Brett Allen Reed pleaded guilty to one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine - Aiding and Abetting and admitted to helping another person to distribute the drug in Upshur County in March.

Reed faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million.
