BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) - Wilson Martino Dental in Bridgeport joined in the fifth annual "Freedom Day USA" event on Oct. 12. They provided free dental exams, cleanings and other dental work services to members of our armed forces.

"Freedom Day USA" is when businesses across the country provide a free services to military members, families and veterans. They also received gifts, a bunch of goodies and sweet surprises.

"It's been a really nice experience, they do an excellent job," said Ricky Schacker, a veteran for the U.S. Navy. "They're really hyped up out here. This a good from them and very nice and a very nice thing they can do for everybody."

"Freedom Day USA" was founded as a way to say thank you for the sacrifices made by our military men and women but also their families.

"It's just a way to give back to our military. We know how much they sacrifice what they've given which is way more than we can give," said Robin McCauley, a Dental Assistant. "We had over 200 businesses that participated with us this year and we were able to send them home with a gift."

Wilson Martino Dentals is a proud sponsor of WDTV.
