(CBS) -- The economy continues to get stronger. The Department of Labor says jobless claims fell to a 45-year low. People filing for unemployment tumbled by 41,000 to just 220,000 last week. That's the largest one week decline since 2009!

After a record-breaking Wednesday, today the DOW dropped 97 points, and the NASDAQ was down 2.
The world's biggest passenger jet will live to see another day. Emirates will reportedly buy as many as 36 Airbus A-380 aircraft. Each is worth as much as $16 billion and can seat 544 people. The European planemaker said it was planning to halt production of the jumbojet if the Emirates deal had not come through.
States that legalized cannabis are raking in the green...cash that is. According to ArcView Market Research, the total economic output from legal marijuana will grow 150% from $16 billion in 2017 to a projected $40 billion by 2021.
