Clarksburg W.V.a.(WDTV)-- March Into Spring held it's annual vendor showing event on Saturday, but this year was a little different.
This year all proceeds are going to help the family of Richard Adams, a five year old Clarksburg resident who was diagnosed with acute Leukemia earlier this year.
The March Into Spring vendor event is held every year in honor of the Shriners Hospital. But on Saturday, it was an event to help put a smile on the Adams family's faces during this difficult time.
Twila Ollom is the event coordinator and when she heard what the Adams family was going through she knew her next event was going to be for them.
"I wanted to help out. Joel and Stacy were going through a lot being in Cincinnati away from their other kids, trying to take care of the other, not being able to work, I just wanted to give back to them because I know them personally," said Ollom.
