Construction cones moved from I-79 construction zone

HARRISON COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) -- It's a welcome sight for many drivers. The construction cones along the construction zone between mile markers 111 and 117 along I-79 have been removed.

The cones were pushed back Tuesday night along both the north and southbound sides.

The work along the bridges, which started in April, was originally slated to last until September; however, the West Virginia Department of Transportation negotiated to speed up the timeline.
