UPDATE: Barbour County home ruled total loss after fire

BARBOUR COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- UPDATE
Reports indicate that a Barbour County home is a total loss after a fire Friday morning.

According to reports, one person was inside the house when the fire started, but was not injured.

The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.

Officials say the fire has been put out and responding units have left the scene.

The damage to the house is unclear at this time. It is also unknown if anyone lives in the house.

The Philippi and Nutter Fort fire departments responded to the scene.
