DOH gives updated flood damage information

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- The West Virginia Division of Highways has estimated over $10 million in damage was done to 11 West Virginia counties affected by flood damage last weekend.

This is an increase from the DOH’s initial assessment of around $6 million earlier this week.

According to the update, Doddridge received $60,200 in damage costs, Harrison County received $585,700 in damage costs, Marion received $458,212 in damage costs, Monongalia County received $776,500 in damage costs and Preston received $343,500 in damage costs.
