MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) - Dozens donated to a good cause throughout the day on Monday by giving blood at the WVU Medicine Cancer Center.
This was put on with the help and support of WVU's School of Pharmacy and Kappa Psi.
Both students and adults stopped by this drive, where the blood typically stays within WVU Medicine hospitals to help with various needs.
This drive was specifically geared toward helping bone marrow necessities.
"All of our blood stays at a WVU facility," said Rachel Bennett, the account manager for Central Blood Bank. "We take care of the needs here first and then if we need it anywhere else where our company supplies it, it would go there."
