Flames cover old farmhouse in Monongalia County

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) -- An investigation has been launched after flames covered an old farmhouse in Monongalia County, Tuesday evening.

According to firefighters, it happened around 5 p.m. at the building on Paul Davis Road in the Oak Grove area. When they got on scene, the flames had engulfed the building.

No one was in the building and no one was hurt. There's no word on what started the blaze.

The Triune-Halleck, Grafton, Fellowsville and Clinton District fire departments were all on scene.

Triune-Halleck, and likely the State Fire Marshal's Office, will be in charge of the investigation.
