Four people, including baby and toddler, taken to hospital after accident

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Four people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Harrison County, Friday morning.

According to authorities on scene, the accident happened after a vehicle traveling westbound on Route 50 near Bridgeport Hill, crossed the median. The driver struck another vehicle traveling in the eastbound lanes.

Three people, including a baby and a toddler, were taken to United Hospital Center by ambulance from the scene. One other person was taken to the UHC as well from the scene by means of personal transportation. All patients suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The Clarksburg Fire Department, Clarksburg Police Department, and Harrison County EMS responded to the scene.
