GLENVILLE, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Glenville State senior has been accepted into a prestigious FBI internship program.
The college says Gracen Samples has been accepted into the FBI Honors Internship Program. Samples is a senior criminal justice major and business minor. She participates in Phi Beta Lambda (the college counterpart of Future Business Leaders of America), is a member of Lady Pioneer Volleyball, and is an intern with GSC's Office of International Programs.
The FBI Honors Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship program for undergraduate and graduate students. Students selected will work side-by-side with FBI employees in Washington, D.C. or at one of the bureau's field offices.
Gracen's professors say they are not surprised she was accepted, with one professor calling her the "epitome of student engagement."
You can learn more about Gracen on "Our youth, our future" Friday evening on 5 News.
