Gov. Justice amends call for special Legislative session to address jobs

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Governor Jim Justice has amended the call for next week's special session to include three more pieces of legislation.

Monday's agenda now includes a bill implementing special hiring procedures for personnel positions in the Division of Highways and the Tax Commissioner's office, a bill amending the West Virginia Jobs Act, and one allowing certain tax information to be shared with designated employees of the Commissioner of Highways.

He called for the special session, Thursday. This coincides with the legislature's regular interim meetings that are scheduled to begin Sunday, and continue through Tuesday.
