Grafton preps for Mother's Day crowds

GRAFTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Mother's Day is right around the corner, and while many of us will purchase cards and flowers, one local community bought something a little bigger.

Grafton, the birthplace of the holiday, has been busily preparing for the upcoming celebration and its's annual tours of the international Mother's Day Shrine.

The board decided to go all out this year and has made updates to the roof and added a new sign to provide an additional facelift.

Local area residents are excited and hope that this will keep visitors coming to their city.
