UPDATE: Firetruck involved in accident while responding to crash on highway

MARION COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- UPDATE
After an accident stopped traffic along I-79, Tuesday evening, it started moving again around 6:30 p.m.

According to dispatchers, one person was taken to Fairmont Regional Medical Center after the accident along I-79.

As a fire truck was responding to the accident, it became involved in an accident along White Hall Boulevard near the I-79 on ramp at mile marker 132. It's not clear at this time what happened but one person was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital. White Hall Police are investigating that accident.

State Police and the Marion County Sheriff's Office assisted at the accident along I-79.

According to Marion County 911 officials, traffic is backed up after an accident near mile marker 132 northbound in Marion County.

Officials say no injuries have been reported.
