MOMSEVERYDAY -- Spirit weeks didn't seem to be a thing when we were kids but as parents, you've probably helped your child scramble for a costume last minute.
Recently, the MomsEveryday panel discussed this trend. Here's what they had to say.
MomsEveryday Executive Producer Nikki Bates: "Recently I've been seeing a lot of Facebook posts with moms asking around if anyone has a cowboy hat or a tie-dye shirt, or a hula skirt."
MomsEveryday Host Whitney Kent: "I love themes and I might have a whole bunch of random stuff at my house, and my husband's like, "Can we get rid of that?" and I'm like, "No, I need that for my tacky tourist outfit.""
Juliette Merchant from mahoganymommy.com: "I don't want to make dalmatian t-shirts at 1 o'clock in the morning, but there I was. Because my children would have gone to school, "Mommy, everybody was dressed like a dalmatian except me," and then I'd be that mom. So there I was, I woke up, 'Ahhh, I forgot!'"
