CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Highland-Clarksburg Hospital and the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) took part in a rose vial signing ceremony in Clarksburg last week. The vial will be placed on the Donate Life Rose Parade float that will be featured in the 2018 Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1st in Pasadena, California.

2016 marks the 15th year for the float, which is meant to raise awareness of organ donation. Officials say the float for this year will be called “The Gift of Time” and will reflect the theme of the parade, “Making a Difference.”

Highland-Clarksburg CEO Mike Casdorph says the hospital is honored to contribute to the float.
