Flooding still an issue into Tuesday. Is there more rain in the forecast?

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV)- Rain has come to an end across NCWV Monday evening and snow showers have developed. Flooding will continue to be an issue through Tuesday evening for the hardest hit areas.

Flood Warnings remain in effect for the following river in our area:

Buckhannon River near Buckhannon until 5:00 AM Tuesday.
Little Kanawha River at Glenville until 1:30 AM Tuesday.
Tygart Valley River at Belington until 7:45 PM Tuesday.
Tygart Valley River at Philippi until 6:00 PM Tuesday.
West Fork River at Clarksburg until 5:30 AM Tuesday.

More rain is expected late Wednesday into early Thursday. This should not be enough to worry about flooding. Less than 0.25" is expected over the course of many hours.

We will finally dry out Thursday evening and stay that way into Monday of the following week. A much quieter weather pattern is coming our way.
