4th annual 'Bark in the Park' draws crowd

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) - Hundreds of dogs and their human friends had a blast today at the fourth annual 'Bark in the Park' at University High School.

The event kicked off with a 5K race, followed by a run and walk with the dogs.

There were vendors, crafts, food, and tons of fun activities for kids. The pups could cool down in pools and there were plenty of treats.

Entry was free, but all runners donated $20 to race. Proceeds from the event will benefit Pet Helpers, Inc. The organization relies on donations and fundraisers like Bark in the Park in order to find forever homes for dogs and cats.
