Investigation leads to 34 arrest warrants in Harrison County

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A year-long investigation in Harrison County has resulted in the execution of 34 warrants for individuals on drug related offenses.

In a press conference Thursday, Chief John Walker of Bridgeport Police and The Greater Harrison Drug and Violent Task Force announced police have arrested 15 of the individuals, and are still in the process of locating 19 others.

In the Northview area of Clarksburg, officers found more than 200 packages of heroin and a gun in a home. One person was arrested as a result of that bust.

Walker said the drugs seized amounted to about $2,500.
