HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va (WDTV) - The Harrison County Board of Education accepted the resignation of former Bridgeport High School football coach and Liberty High School teacher Joshua Nicewarner Tuesday morning.

Nicewarner's resignation comes after allegations that he used a computer to send a sexually inappropriate video to a 14-year-old female student, as well as asking for photos from the girl.

Superintendent Dr. Mark Manchin says he met with Nicewarner, who was "contrite" in their meeting, but added that Nicewarner did not admit any wrongdoing.

Nicewarner was arrested more than a week ago, charged with two felony counts.

The Board of Education is expected to name John Cole the coach of Bridgeport High School's football program Tuesday night.
