Kate's Corner: Make homemade "snow" indoors

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) - Winter officially began Wednesday December 21st at 5:44 am so I thought to celebrate we could make some snow. Instead of needing mother nature we just need two ingredients you can find around your house. You only need baking soda and conditioner.

In a bowl or pan, add 2 and a half cups of baking soda then half a cup of conditioner. I am using white conditioner because I want the snow to be white. Mix the two together and you have your snow!

The snow is cold to the touch and feels more like wet snow. Wet snow is heavy and good for making snowmen.

However, if you want to make more powdery snow, swap out the conditioner for shaving creme.
