WESTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Lena Lunsford, mother of missing girl Aliayah Lunsford, was arraigned in Lewis County Friday morning.

A special magistrate from Upshur County was brought in to hold the hearing.

Lunsford was arrested Thursday in Florida and charged with Aliayah's death, which police say happened as a result of child abuse.

Lunsford is being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond.

Lunsford, 34, was charged with death of a child by abuse. She did not enter a plea when she was arraigned Friday following her extradition from Florida.
