LEWIS COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) - The Lewis County Chamber of Commerce, along with dozens of guests, sat down and enjoyed a dinner at Jackson Mill's on Oct. 10.

They had a chance to hear Paul Ruppert, president of Gas Transmission for Dominion Energy.

Ruppert, who is a Lewis County native, discussed how additional natural gas infrastructure is needed and how it will benefit the region.

"Dominion Energy is a key component to the economy here in Lewis County," said Greg Cunningham, President of the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce. "They have a lot of facilities here. They have storage fields. Actually the start of the ACP pipeline to North Carolina starts in Lewis County. He's a key component of the economic success and Dominion for Lewis County."

The chamber also says it was an honor to have someone involved in capital investments in the area.
