Man wanted, another arrested after alleged burglaries, assault in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) -- One man is wanted and another charged after alleged burglaries in Morgantown.

According to the Morgantown Police Department, officers responded to a reported burglary at 261 Brockway Avenue around noon on Tuesday. When they arrived, the officers found an apartment door forced open.

A victim inside told officers that Dylan and Randy Yoders broke into the apartment and assaulted her while attempting to take her personal property, before she got away. Officers say she did have signs of being assaulted and was treated.

Officers then found Randy Yoders at another apartment, which a victim told police he had just busted into. Victims reported that Dylan Yoders had fled the scene on foot.

24-year-old Dylan Yoders of Maidsville, WV, is wanted on burglary charges. If you have any information on his whereabouts, you are asked to call the anonymous TIPS line at 304-284-7520.

Randy Yoders was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital after complaining of injuries. He was released after a medical screening and is being held on a $50,000 secured bond.
