Mon Co. Sheriff's Department searches for suspects in alleged robbery

MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV)- The Monongalia County Sheriff's Office is searching for three men accused of robbing someone in a parking lot on Willowdale Road in Morgantown.

According to a press release from the Mon County Sheriff's Office, the victim walked into the station around 12:40 AM Thursday. He claimed he was robbed by three black men.

The victim says he was shoved to the ground when the suspects stole money, his iPhone X and his wallet. He claims the men flashed guns and threatened to shoot him if he got up.

One suspect was described as wearing a black polo shirt with an emblem on it and dreadlocks. The other two were seen wearing black hooded shirts.

The victim says he saw the men get into a maroon Toyota Camry that took of in the direction of the WVU football stadium.
