Mon Power has scheduled an electric service interruption for parts of Harrison and Marion counties for Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Mon Power regrets the inconvenience, but the work is necessary to help enhance service reliability in the area.
Line crews will replace two structures, modify a third structure and improve line clearances on a fourth structure on an area transmission line linking substations near Glen Falls and Fairview. To perform the work safely, crews must de-energize four distribution circuits emanating from another substation near Shinnston.
The interruption will occur from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., affecting about 3,800 customers in the following areas:
Areas along Route 20, including Haywood and Lumberport to Robinson Cemetery; south along Route 19, including Gypsy to the West Fork River; north along Route 19, including Shinnston and Enterprise to Little Bingamon-Bradley; East Shinnston, including Willard and Owings; areas north and south along Route 27/Coons Run Road, including Francis; areas along Route 3/Robinson-Wyatt Run Road, including Wyatt; and areas along Route 8/Williams Mine Road, including Pine Bluff.
