GRANVILLE, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Monongalia County woman has been charged with "child neglect creating a risk of injury" after she was found unconscious near drugs while caring for a seven-year-old.
According to the criminal complaint, Elizabeth Zinn, 35, was found unconscious Thursday in the lady's bathroom at the Wendy's on Sesame Drive in Granville. On the floor next to her was an uncapped syringe, and a metal container with white powder was discovered on the sink. Zinn later told authorities that the drug was either Subutex or Heroin.
At the time of the incident, a 7-year-old boy was in Zinn's care, and had been alone in the restaurant for around 20 minutes before Zinn was found and 911 was called.
