Morgantown man sentenced on drug charges

CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) - A Morgantown man was sentenced to more than three years in jail for drug distribution charges.

According to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office
Northern District of West Virginia, 26-year-old Codey Bonnette pled guilty to one count of “Distribution of Oxycodone” in October 2017.

Bonnette admitted to selling oxycodone in Monongalia County in September 2015.

The investigation was handled by The Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative and funded by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Program (OCDETF).
