Morgantown woman pleads guilty to dug distribution charge

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Morgantown woman has pleaded guilty and admitted to distributing oxycodone.

According to the U.S. Attorney's office, 21-year-old Jayla Shade pleaded guilty to one count of “Unlawful Use of Communication Facility.” Officials say she admitted to using a phone to "distribute and assist in a conspiracy to distribute oxycodone" in Monongalia County this past February.

Shade faces up to four years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
