Original Story
A hearing for a defense motion has begun for Lena Lunsford-Conaway in Lewis County Circuit Court.

Lunsford was arrested in Florida in 2016 and extradited to Lewis County in 2016 for charges related to the 2011 disappearance of her then three-year-old Aaliyah Lunsford.

Back in June, Lunsford's attorneys filed two motions in Lewis County to seek a jury consultant and a change of venue request.

Those requests will be addressed at today's hearing.
