Police brutality investigation underway in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, W.Va. (WDTV) -- An investigation is underway in Pittsburgh after video captured by a bystander appears to show a city police officer raining down punches on a man during an arrest.

The footage shows the arrest of 34-year-old David Jones and 47-year-old Daniel Alderman outside PPG paints arena. Supposedly, officers were taking Jones into custody when alderman tried to interfere. The video shows an officer kneeling over Alderman, who is on his hands and knees and punching him repeatedly. The officer repositions and continues throwing punches. An officer shouts for the man to stop resisting, and one yells for another to deploy his taser.
