Preston County woman charged with coordinating robbery of her own business

MASONTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Preston County woman has been arrested for allegedly coordinating the robbery of her own business.

According to the Masontown Police Department, 45-year-old Rebecca “Becky” Davis, of Kingwood, was arrested Friday and charged with 2nd Degree Robbery, after arrest and search warrants were executed.

Davis is the owner of Becky’s Hot Spot Lounge in Masontown.The business was robbed on December 21, 2016. Officials say an investigation revealed that Davis coordinated that robbery.

Officials say further arrests are anticipated.The Preston County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
