WESTON, W. Va. (WDTV)- Public employees gathered outside the William R. Sharpe Jr. Hospital to voice their concerns on PEIA, Wednesday evening.
Many public employees working for the hospital still think there's more work to be done in Charleston in regards to PEIA.
"They need to fund the PEIA. The state employees can't afford this. They can't afford anymore money. They need to help the state workers out. They are going to remember them come voting time," said Karen Hardin, International representative with the United Electrical workers.
They said they want justice and to be treated fairly and that they'll remember in November.
