Most of the snow has ended but that doesn't mean the roads will not become hazardous. Many locations received 1.00" of rain or more on Wednesday. Some had freezing rain in the morning as well. With temperatures dropping into the teens tonight, earlier rain is likely to re-freeze.
Major roads, such as interstates and US highways will probably be in good shape. Even those could get some icy spots, however. Backroads, especially in the mountain counties of Pendleton, Pocahontas, Preston, Tucker, Webster, and Garrett counties could make for tricky travel tonight.
Temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing on Thursday. So, roads could remain slick, even after sunrise.
