One person we talked with told us he has a backup plan in case Mother Nature isn't so kind.
"The weather will impact some of what we do, but at the same time we already mad plans for rain," said Thomas Mcaulty of Harrison County.
But, one couple tells us, rain or shine, they're visiting some cemeteries because paying respect to those who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice is what the day's all about.
"We're going to get with our families and we're going to go to the grave yards," said Jeff Starkey of Harrison County. "Remember the military. Think of them too. It's not all fun, games and camping. Let's think about the real reason for it."
