MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV)-- U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito paid a special visit to Skyview Elementary on Friday.
The event was part of her initiative "West Virginia Girls Rise Up", which is designed to encourage and empower 5th girls to pursue a good education, a healthy lifestyle, and a sense of confidence.
The program began in 2015.
Capito was also joined by gymnasts and coaches from WVU.
