Harrison County, W.Va (WDTV) -- The Harrison County Sheriff’s department gathered today to honor one of their own. Deanna Hoskinson has been working for the department for 25 years. She is originally from Harrison County, and started her career as a process server.
She currently works as one of three process administrators in the office. Harrison County Sheriff Robert Matheny expressed how honored he is to have her as a vital part of them team.
“We think that’s just wonderful, and even better than that, she’s not going anywhere. It’s not like she’s retiring so hopefully we will have her for another 25 years.”
Hoskinson was not expecting gathering today.
“It feels really good, I was really surprised.”
On top of today’s celebration, the division also recently had a mini makeover, with fresh new uniforms and marked vehicles that allow for better visibility. Sheriff Matheny went on to say that this was something the department earned for all of their years of hard work.
“They just do a great job and we’re proud of them so were glad today that we can celebrate Deanna and celebrate the whole division.”
