More snow showers in the forecast. When will they come to an end?

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) - Snow showers continue at times through Friday morning. These should be ending before sunrise in the lower elevations on Friday. Even the mountains should see them come to an end by noon. Another couple of inches possible for the highest of places between midnight and noon Friday.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through Friday morning. This means that snow will primarily cause travel difficulties.

The storm system for the weekend continues to trend farther south and could miss NCWV completely. It's also possible it clips the Mountain State with some spots south of US-33 seeing rain or snow, while locations farther north see nothing. Check back for details if the storm looks to materialize for Sunday.
