CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A bill to require all that state House of Delegates districts are single-member districts is moving to the Senate.

The bill-House Bill 4002-would have the districts redrawn after the 2020 census to 100 single-member districts.

The vote was 72-25, with a bipartisan majority.

Single-member districts are used in all but 10 state legislatures, and only West Virginia and New Hampshire continue to have legislative districts that consist of 3 or more members.
