CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner announced Monday that 49 high school students have been selected to be part of the Honorary Secretary of State Program for the current school year.

The program recognizes high school students that have been active in helping fellow students register to vote.
The students were honored during a press conference Monday and will have the opportunity to shadow Secretary Warner and his staff during the upcoming legislative session.
