Super Bowl Sunday in the Mountain State

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV)-- Bars and restaurants around our area are gearing up for the Superbowl.

There's reason to believe this year's Super Bowl viewership will be smaller than last year's, as the NFL's television ratings have been down across the board this season, as the league has dealt with a number of image issues. But plenty of viewers will still be tuning in. That and also many people will be heading out and on the roadway.

"It's going to be slick with the ice and snow. if you drink, drink responsibly and be careful.", said Bridgeport Firefighter/EMT Mark Jefferies.

With the high rate of customers flooding in, some restaurants are adding wait staff and expecting high turnouts, such as Buffalo Wild wings in Bridgeport.

"We added two extra phone lines just for today. We have two people cashing customers out to make sure the take-out is in-and-out. Two extra people to the outside of the kitchen and then four extra on the inside." said Jason Mike, Buffalo Wild Wings Manager.

As for who's going to win?

One Philadelphia fan predicted the Eagles 30-27. Another couple predicted the Patriots winning but not without a fight.

Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
