MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) - The American Federation of Teachers and the West Virginia Education Association hosted an informational picket in Morgantown this afternoon to raise awareness about their fight to get funding for PEIA.

Teachers rallied together outside of the WVU Coliseum and Creative Arts Center. The event's organizers said the point of the demonstration was to gain community support and inform the public about why they want PEIA funding.

Students, parents and elected officials were also at the rally and said they were there to support teachers, as well as all other public employees.
