Town of White Hall looks into next step before Public Safety Building bid

WHITE HALL, W. Va. (WDTV) - The Town of White Hall continues looking into the future. They're starting their plans for renovation and construction of the new Public Safety Building.

Contractors and architects met at the building on Tuesday to start discussion on the pre-bidding process. The building is expected to house the town's administrative offices, police department and the fire department.

Also, council chambers will be built in this building. The Public Safety Building committee will look on their best option with the town's current budget.

"We're probably about two months behind we were hoping to be at this point but it's coming along fine so we should be under construction here by the end of July and hopefully within eight to nine months it'll be completed,"said Mayor Guy Ward.

The town is expected to make a decision and announcement in July.
